Rob Stam is an author, speaker and advisor. He has ridden the roller-coaster of success and failure through several economic cycles, and shares the lessons he learned with openness and insight. In his writings and speeches Rob focuses on the changing trends in American economics, religion, culture, and politics and how his generation should respond.
Rob is a frequent guest speaker to local businesses and business groups, non-profit organizations, political groups, churches, and colleges. He is the VP of Business Development for Black Lake Studio & Press where he can be hired as an advisor and projector manager for business model and brand development. He also serves on the board of directors for Overture International, board of advisors for ATLAS and on the board of advisors for Alternative Energy Solutions. He is active in ministry and serves as the director of worship for Haven Church in Zeeland, MI.
His first book, Almost Our Time: Generation X Takes On America's Challenges was released in 2010 and is available on Amazon.com.
Rob recently joined co-author Greg Smith in the launching of Walk Thru History, an organization developed to recapture the lessons of history by traveling the world providing an up close perspective on the events, places and people that shaped humanity.
Rob and his family reside in western Michigan. He loves the outdoors and his favorite hobby is scuba diving and taking people on diving trips to the carribean. He is a certified Scuba Schools International instructor and marketing advisor for Ocean Sands Scuba.
