- Almost Out Time: The Next Generation Takes on America's Challenges: Bill & Ted's generation is on an "excellent adventure." America is running out of cash, running out of influence, and running out of ideas to fix it all. Is a generation raised during economic bubbles in a media revolution prepared to lead America? Based on his book of the same title, Rob shares his own personal story of early success and an subsequent "epic fail" as a parallel to the American story. From this he shares insights and lessons of how post baby boomer America can recapture the freedom and stability that America once held.
- Building A Business Model That Works: As an entrepreneur and business advisor, Rob has seen a variety of successful and failed ventures. This experience has helped him realize some basic and all too often ignored principles that any business or organization should embrace in our ever changing economic culture. As the world of business evolves there are timeless practices that must not be forgotten if we hope to rebuild the small business foundation that America depends on.
- Telling Your Story: It's human nature, from the ancient Greeks to Hollywood, we love a great story. Not only do we enjoy a good story, we respond to a good story. So how can you make this work for you? How can effective story telling shape your organization, build your brand, and reach your intended audience? This talk provides a basic outline supported by case studies of how story telling can and should be at the foundation of any business development or marketing strategy.
- Becoming Necessary: As part of the rebuilding process, Rob asked himself a humbling question: "Are you necessary?" This is really a question of value and whether or not as individuals and organizations we are adding value to those around us. Our values define what matters to each of us while value defines what matters to all of us. We live in a time in which we believe we can, and should, have whatever we want. While prosperity and the conveniences that accompany it are great, they are not at the heart of what builds a lasting, balanced society. In this talk, Rob discuss how we can rediscover the concept of adding value and becoming necessary to the world around us.
